If a GP trainee wishes to claim the costs of a one-off subscription to an online training package (such as Red Whale Unlimited or NB Plus), they should submit a discretionary study leave application and receive approval from their TPD and Head of School. More detailed guidance on this process can be found here. Approval will likely be limited to trainees in their ST3 year who have a minimum of 3 calendar months left in their programme.
