We run a course locally for trainees that previously we did not charge trainees to attend but instead paid for this out of the Study Leave budget. How can we fund these in the new process?

Trusts are able to continue to run courses locally free of charge to trainees and claim for the cost out of the Study Leave budget for any courses that appear on the Study Leave lists as Curriculum Mandated or Curriculum Optional. Courses that are not on the list should be approved via the locally delivered approvals form. Further guidance can be found in the locally delivered guidance document on the study leave homepage. 

You can claim for reimbursement for locally delivered courses via the usual reimbursement process, completing the locally-delivered tab of the reimbursement spreadsheet and submitting on the 4th of each month.
