Trainees must ensure that both their practice and Training Programme Director (TPD) are formally notified of their parental leave arrangements, including the agreed dates. In addition, a Change in Circumstances Notification Form must be submitted via the training portal to record this information officially.
Upon return to clinical training, your programme completion date will be recalculated to reflect the period of absence. This ensures that all required competencies are achieved within the adjusted timeframe.
