You should discuss with your Training Programme Director, before the mid-point of the training year, whether a Grace Period will be required. You should then submit an intent form here confirming you wish to take a period of grace a minimum of 6-months before your CCT/CESR (CP) date.
Your Training Programme Director will work to accommodate your request within the available posts within the training programme and/or within Trusts.
