A support meeting is a meeting with the Head of School/Deputy Head of School or your Training Programme Director. These meetings are designed to support a trainee with any difficulties they may have encountered and are an opportunity to explore options available to the trainee.
Below is a list of some of the reasons we offer support meetings, but please note this is not an exhaustive list and should you wish to have a support meeting for another reason, please contact LaSE Healthcare Education Team or your TPD:
Health problems impacting your training
Request for an OOP during Core Medical Training, or the last year of training
Been involved in an SUI, a complaint or a referral to the GMC
Personal circumstances impacting your training
Concerns which may have been raised by your employer
Concerns that you would like to raise about your current post
An extension has been offered at your ARCP, therefore, extending your programme completion or CCT date.
If none of the FAQs have answered your question, please submit an enquiry to the team by clicking here
