The ARCP panel have the ability to review a provisional CCT/CESR(CP)/CEGPR(CP) date and adjust if necessary, taking into account such factors as rate of acquisition of competences that might bring forward the CCT date. The latest point that this can be done is the penultimate ARCP or PYR for Physician based specialties. This must be done in conjunction with the relevant Royal College/Faculty guidance and the European Union minimum training requirements.
