I have decided not to return to training from my parental leave, who should I inform?

If you decide not to return to the training programme from your parental leave you are required to give notice in line with your employer terms and conditions and resignation from the training programme. You are required to submit a formal letter of resignation to your employer and Foundation Training Programme Director and should then complete the LFS withdrawal form which is attached to this FAQ. Your employer is entitled to reclaim any occupational maternity pay if you do not provide the required notice.


You may also wish to discuss the implication of withdrawing with the Foundation School.
