Can an applicant make a direct approach for a post within the scheme e.g. if they were a summer vacation student?

Employers cannot make an offer to a student outside of the scheme for a post advertised within the scheme. If an applicant is really interested in a programme, they should rank it as their most preferred programme via their preference choices.
